If you're in town for sports, chances are you already know about the University of Michigan - there's football and basketball of course, but don't sleep on the hockey, softball, lacrosse, and more!

Eastern Michigan University also has a full complement of sports, be sure to check it out.

For something a little more unique, attend an Ann Arbor Derby Dimes roller derby bout.

Dining

In Ypsi, our favorites are Latin American Cuban Cuisine - the name says it all, Casablanca for Moroccan fare, or Thompson & Co. for casual fare. For authentic Chinese, choose YP Sichuan, or warm up at Lan City Handpulled Noodles. For a fine dining experience, Bellflower is an absolute can't miss. Finish up with a late night sweet from Cravings Dessert Lounge.

In Ann Arbor, head to Spencer or York for artisan food and wine, or Frita Batidos for a Cuban burger and milkshake. Zingerman's Deli is a must for any foodie, and Slurping Turtle has a great bowl of ramen. If you crave wood-fired pizza, head to Bigalora.
