We provide ample cotton linens and towels for your stay. Comforters, sheets, and pillows for the daybed and couches can be found in the mint green chest under the coffee maker. If you will be staying for more than a week and would like fresh bed linens left for you, please let us know in advance of your stay. Towels and washcloths can be found in the bathrooms and in the bedroom closets. Towels should not be taken to the pool. Throw blankets can be found throughout the house.

In the Blue Bedroom you will find a Peloton bike. The bike has been equipped with pedal covers so that special cycling shoes are not required. These pedal covers can be removed if you would like to use your LOOK Delta cleat shoes - please leave the covers in the closet and remember not to step off the mat with cleats.

There are weights on the back of the bike, as well as a swivel screen so you can turn the screen to face the room for a cardio or yoga class, or a meditation session. You are welcome to use the guest profile on the bike, or enter your own log-in information - be sure to log out when you leave.

In the closet you will find a basket with a yoga mat, yoga blocks, washcloths, and equipment cleaning spray. Please spray and wipe down all equipment after use.

All exercise equipment is for use at your own risk.

A few cooking basics have been provided in the kitchen - salt, pepper, and olive oil spray. To recharge the Misto olive oil sprayer, simply place the cap on and pump the top until you feel resistance.

You will also find a microwave under the counter, as well as a toaster and an electric kettle. In the fridge there is a Brita pitcher, and ice trays in the freezer.

A coffee maker is provided for use, as well as a limited amount of instant coffee, creamer, and sweeteners. We recommend picking up a bag of coffee from Hyperion, our favorite local roaster. The coffee filter is reusable, please clean it and replace it between uses. During the daylight hours it may be difficult to see the white LED display on the coffeemaker - simply hold up your hand to the left of the display.

Basic cleaning supplies can be found in the hall closet, you are welcome to use them as needed. An iron and ironing board can be found in the closet in the Blue Bedroom. Each bedroom has a three drawer dresser as well as hangers for your clothes.

We have provided hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner for your use. Additional toilet paper and tissues can be found under the sinks in each bathroom, and cotton balls and menstrual products are available. A blow dryer can be found under the sink in the full bathroom.

We are delighted to offer two opportunities to add a little extra warmth to your stay. Before using either the indoor fireplace or outdoor fire pit, please review the Safety and Emergency page in full, as well as the House Rules for information on what wood may and may not be burnt. Fireplaces are used at your own risk.

There is no pool on the property, but in the park right next door there is the Rutherford Pool - a community pool open to the public. We suggest purchasing individual day passes, or a punch card if you intend to visit several times. Towels from Pleasant Cottage are not to be taken to the pool.
